Gilbert Orthodontics specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients of all ages

Clear aligners recommended for an individual will depend on their unique dental needs during our patient-centered evaluation tailored to each patient.

Our board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Josh Gilbert, will assess your orthodontic concerns and discuss how clear aligners can help with your aesthetic goals and needs.

Why Clear Aligners?

We offer three types of clear aligner options at Gilbert Orthodontics including Invisalign, Spark and our branded GO SMILE custom aligners. Clear aligners offer several advantages for patients seeking orthodontic treatment at Gilbert Orthodontics:

Here are some reasons why clear aligners, such as Invisalign or similar systems, are preferred by many individuals:

Clear aligners are virtually invisible when worn, making them a discreet treatment option. They are made from transparent plastic material, allowing the natural appearance of your teeth to shine through without noticeable metal brackets or wires.

Clear aligners are removable, which provides several advantages. You can easily take them out to eat, drink, brush, and floss, allowing for better oral hygiene compared to fixed braces. This flexibility also means you can enjoy your favorite foods without restrictions.

Clear aligners are generally more comfortable than traditional braces. They are made from smooth and comfortable plastic, reducing the likelihood of irritation to the soft tissues of your mouth. There are no sharp brackets or wires to cause discomfort or soreness.

Clear aligners require fewer in-person visits to the orthodontist compared to braces. Instead of regular adjustments, you receive a series of aligners that you change at home according to a prescribed schedule. This makes clear aligners a convenient option for those with busy lifestyles or who live far from their orthodontist.

Clear aligner treatment is often accompanied by advanced digital planning. Dr. Gilbert uses computer models to map out the precise movements of your teeth throughout the treatment process. This digital planning provides a more predictable outcome, allowing you to visualize the final results before starting treatment.
