In addition to standard metal braces we can use ‘Self-Ligating’ braces for certain cases. Dr. Gilbert will discuss his recommendations for you at your appointment.
Clear Braces
Ceramic brackets are the go-to choice for those with aesthetic concerns. They incorporate the strength and function of traditional braces with the appeal of translucent brackets that blend in with your teeth.
Made with an innovative ceramic material, these brackets are durable as well as attractive. They move teeth as efficiently as traditional brackets and are safe for patients of all ages. Ceramic brackets can give you the same great orthodontic results without the need for conspicuous metal brackets
Clear Aligners
Clear aligner treatment is the perfect option for people looking to improve their smile comfortably and discreetly. With Gilbert Orthodontics your aligner treatment will be tailored to you. We don’t limit ourselves; instead, we choose to work with many of the big names in aligner treatment like 3M Clarity, Invisalign, and Spark to ensure that your aligners are best suited to your case.
We even have our own in-house aligner system, GO Smile Clear Aligners, which offer many of the same advantages as Invisalign. Our state-of-the-art intraoral scanners capture the contours of your teeth in high definition. We then create a 3D model and Dr. Gilbert meticulously plans each tooth movement. We put our 3D printers to work to get your aligners made at a much faster rate than larger companies and have none of the hassles of shipping.

Early treatment
As a parent, it’s not always easy to know if your child will need orthodontic treatment. While there is no exact age for children to begin orthodontics treatment, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic visit at around the age of seven. By this age, most children have a mix of both adult and baby teeth. This will allow the orthodontist to assess whether or not early intervention is needed to correct problems with the teeth and jaws, and potentially avoid surgery down the road.
